We are here to help and are accepting applications! During this unprecedented time, NES is working diligently to provide a safe preschool environment. We have been operating well following our COVID-19 Policies and Procedures, since April at our Alexandria location. Our DC location opened in June for Summer Camp and has also operated well. We are strictly adhering to the policies and procedures for preschools set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), DC Health, and VDSS.
NES SPECIFIC POLICIES/PROCEDURES:
Safe Distance/”Stay in your Lane” Drop offs and Pick ups
Scheduled Family/Parent Drop offs and Pick ups
No Lunch Bags, Snacks, Nap Rolls, Pullups, Wipes, Creams etc. allowed in the schools from home
Only care-givers, living in the home, are allowed to Drop off and Pick up
Light Colored Clothing on Children (to withstand small amounts of cleaning sprays)
Using a two/three door entry system with parents remaining outside all doors, each door provides another level of sanitation before children enter the school
Utilizing touch free sign-in and sign-out procedures
Medical equipment (heat, UV, scanning and other sanitary considerations) added to school

Four Quick Step Process for enrollment
1 | Inquiry Package
Included in the inquiry package is our tuition schedule, daily schedule, school calendar, admission form, space sharing information, and a letter thanking you for your inquiry! You are welcome to send an email to northeaststarsmontessori.nes@gmail.com or call us at 703-945-0408 to express your interest.
2 | Submit an Application
Ready to enroll? Submit the completed application form (which can be filled out electronically!) with the application fee to begin your admission process. Your application will be acknowledged and if there is an opening for your child, we will continue with the enrollment process!
3 | Submit registration forms
Once your child is accepted, you will receive a registration packet containing required registration forms. Please submit these forms to secure the spot for your child. You will also receive a welcome packet that contains our parent handbook, as well as general information about our daily schedule, etc.
